Element International Forwarding & Logistics in Turkey have recently completed the project shipment of a 'cryogenic LIN storage tank' from Bursa to Tehran in Iran.

The 91m3 cryogenic LIN storage tank weighing 33,000kg and measuring 3.2 x 19.7 x 3.6m was picked up in Bursa (Turkey) and transported by direct road carriage all the way to Tehran, Iran. President, Bilge Guzelocak explains; "This shipment was quite urgent and therefore was swiftly handled. On the first day, we went to the factory to inspect the cargo and take measurements with our technicians. By the second day, the most suitable low-bed truck and operational processes were arranged by our project team.

We had been pushed to offer very competitive charges as well as hiring a single self-crane and arranging the use of the shore crane in the factory to lift the tank from the ground onto the truck. The shore crane took the rear grappling hook of the tank with the self-crane taking the front grappling hook as exampled by the photos below.

The tank was moved to the final destination in Tehran and was delivered to the receiver in perfect condition. The entire operation was handled and managed with the highest attention with no failures and Element International Forwarding & Logistics is proud to complete this notable shipment."
