Tandem HQ, Tandem Netherlands and Tandem Germany visit CargoSoft in Bremen

On the 29th of October, I visited CargoSoft e-logistic Solutions in Bremen together with Joep Stijns and Lisa Heggelman of Tandem Netherlands, and Frank Rottmann-Simon and Eric Sih from Tandem Germany a.k.a. Rieck Sea Air Cargo International.
The main purpose of this visit was for us (Tandem HQ) to get trained as administrators of our new SCM platform. And to get a better understanding of all the ins and outs of the system as the project group, to update each other on the progress with the system setup and the testing of the system among the test partners. We have been making a lot of progress since we started this project in May. We also managed to successfully upload test shipments via the standard XML. But it became clear that there is still quite some more work to be done with respect to uploading of basic data, to make sure that all the settings and roles are correct, and to do some more tests with respect to the manual uploading of shipments for those who may not be able to upload them via XML. We have a much better understanding of the system now and it is more clear who needs to take care of which action points. We are very eager to get all of this in place during the next few months and to show you the results. Stay tuned!
