Tandem Switzerland instrumental in Luzerner Sinfonieorchestra Ravinia Gig

Our Tandem Partners in Switzerland, Freight Navigator Ltd., loaded 6 PMC Lower Deck Pallets with musical instruments of the “Luzerner SinfonieOrchester” to Chicago this week. Lucerne Symphony Orchestra hails from the Swiss town where Rachmaninoff lived and composed. They are also known as the residence orchestra at the KKL Luzern. The acclaimed ensemble makes its second trip to Ravinia, North America’s oldest outdoor music festival, for two nights. The loading process was supervised by Freight Navigator staff, the instruments were flown to Chicago where they arrived smoothly and right on time for the orchestra’s performance on August 19th and 20th with Anne Akiko Meyers on the violin. We are confident that the concert is going to be great. Freight Navigator Ltd. will take care of the safe return of the instruments to Switzerland on August 23rd.
