Tandem Turkey: tailor-made handling of Tug Boats and Masts

Our partners and shareholders of the Cooperative Tandem Global Logistics Network, Element International Forwarding & Logistics in Turkey, were successful in shipping some extraordinary heavy items recently.
First of all, they worked with their partner in Russia, to arrange the shipment of two tug boats from Derince Port in Turkey to Baku Port in Azerbaijan. Element International's scope of business included organizing the lashing and securing of the boats, stevedoring for the vessel, port agency and husbandry agent of the vessel. The boats were loaded smoothly and everything ran successfully on both sides.
Element also organized the transportation of various long masts to Estonia. For this cargo, their scope of business included organizing the inland transportation from the factory to the port, port operations, lashing & securing and ocean freight. Erdem Koc at Element International explained: "We loaded these masts and shipped them to Antwerp Port where we re-loaded them to trucks and onto a RORO vessel destined for Paldiski Port in Estonia. The operations were completed smoothly and we trust that the customer in Estonia is also happy with our services!"
