Tandem Canada CEO visited Tandem Japan

On the 22nd of October, Tandem Canada’s President & CEO Mr Patrick Lo (Canaan Group) visited our Tandem Japan office in Yokohama. Afterwards, he shared his positive views with us, as follows:

“As discussed last month, my goal for this year is to continue connecting with our Tandem offices around the world and to visit each location personally. Last month, I had the pleasure of visiting our Tandem Philippines office in Manila. It was wonderful to meet the new team structure and see the office—new to me, even if not newly established—since my last visit over eight years ago.

This visit reaffirmed how much has evolved within the Tandem network. With the new U.S. tariff regime, Tandem Canada is exploring new initiatives to strengthen collaboration among our global partners and promote more cross-border business.

There are also exciting developments in Japan, where Sanae Takichi was recently appointed as the country’s first female Prime Minister. Next week, President Trump is scheduled to visit Japan to discuss trade relations. In addition, Tandem Japan, together with Azuma Shipping, has launched a new temperature-controlled warehouse in Yokohama—just 30 minutes from Tokyo. This facility represents a significant step toward facilitating premium, trade-sensitive cargo and improving our service offerings across Asia.

We also discussed integrating the system with CargoSoft, and once again, Tandem Canada has offered its assistance to make this collaboration possible.

Our continued communication, cooperation, and innovation remain the foundation of Tandem’s success worldwide.”
