Tandem Germany and Tandem Netherlands Strengthen Cooperation

Exchanging ideas, supporting each other, learning from each other: in our international Tandem network, Tandem Germany (Rieck Sea Air Cargo) are now working even more closely with The Netherlands and have further expanded their partnership during a meeting lasting several days. Frank van der Zee, Commercial Director of Tandem Smart Global Logistics Netherlands, visited Frankfurt for this purpose. The sea freight expert learned about Tandem Germany’s air freight handling via Frankfurt, and in return, he gave his colleagues details about local operational processes in Amsterdam relating to customs clearance, pricing, and handling. "Amsterdam and Frankfurt are among the largest cargo airports in Europe," says Jasheel Lal, Export Team Leader at Tandem Germany. "At both airports, we can offer our customers a one-stop service and work together to find the best transport solutions."
“Thanks to this partnership, we can, for example, route shipments planned via Maastricht via Düsseldorf as an alternative, or route shipments from Bocholt via Amsterdam. And regardless of whether it's an import or export shipment, air freight or sea freight transport, customers benefit from perfect service.
