Tandem Global Logistics Network adds 6 new Partners in strategic areas

Tandem Global Logistics Network is very pleased and proud to have added the following new cooperative partners to its coverage, in a very short time frame: Colimex Ivory Coast, Colimex Senegal (both part of the organization of our French colleagues at Centrimex), NH Logistics and Belarus Unicordas Portugal.
This is very good news, also for our current partners and their customers, to have access to several prospective territories which we did not cover before, including the ones in (West) Africa, which is an emerging market.
Belarus has been on our wish list as well for quite a while, according to Tandem’s Executive Director Frits Schouffoer. The opportunity suddenly presented itself when we found a partner who has a lot of experience of importing and Customs clearing project cargo into Russia as a complex niche market, who would like to copy their success to other CIS states and in general forwarding. For this purpose, they need a reliable network and we are more than happy to fulfil that role and to develop the business together.
Unicordas Portugal, established in 1966 with offices in Lisbon and Porto, are also a very experienced freight forwarding company. We welcomed them because we had to replace our former partners as a result of a recent major international acquisition, which resulted in too many conflicts of interest. These things happen in our industry and we wish them all the best.
To conclude with, we have just appointed two strong new partners in South America and North Africa respectively, with whom we are in the process of getting the agency agreements signed. We are looking forward to disclose their names and details to everyone, before the end of this month.
