Tandem Global Logistics Vietnam Successfully Established A New Vessel Route, Directly Connecting The India - Vietnam Route.

Tandem Global Logistics Vietnam is a strategic partner of Zim line in Vietnam market. We are pleased to inform our customers about the new shipping line, directly connecting the Indian seaport with the South - North regions, meeting the efficiency of serving customers with 2 vessels of 1,100 TEUs.

On August 3, 2023, Tandem Vietnam attended the opening event of the first shipping line, directly connecting the two gateway ports of India with two major seaports in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong. Time to transport goods from Kattupali port to Ho Chi Minh City port is within 8 days, the time is significantly shortened im comparison to previous transshipment ports.

India is one of the major import and export markets for goods in Vietnam, including main products such as rice, shrimp, pangasius, garments, and electronics. This event marks an important turning point for Tandem Vietnam in promoting the exploitation of IVX services (India Vietnam Express), developing the growing commercial potential of Vietnam and India.

IVX service route (India - Vietnam):

Hai Phong -> Ho Chi Minh City -> Port Klang -> Kattupali -> Ho Chi Minh City -> Hai Phong

Tandem Global Logistics Vietnam has successfully deployed the Cambodian mango route to China, through Vietnam border gate.

In the last 3 months, Tandem Vietnam has successfully exploited the first shipment of mangoes with an output of 100 containers/month, exported from Cambodia to China, transited at 2 Vietnamese border gates. This success has created a boost for trade cooperation between the three countries Cambodia - Vietnam - China.

According to a report from the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, in the first 6 months of 2023, Cambodia's top three export markets according to RCEP are Vietnam (1.43 billion USD, up 22%), China (713 million USD, up 17%), Japan (545 million USD, up 1%).

Cambodia's export products to Vietnam mainly come from agricultural products, such as rice, rubber, cashew nut, banana, mango, and natural resources.

The opening of the Cambodian mango market exported to China through Vietnamese territory has brought many commercial benefits to all three countries:

• Cambodia: Stimulating demand for fresh mango production, creating income for farmers, promoting the development of Cambodian agriculture.
• Vietnam: Becoming a trade transit point between Cambodia and China, promoting the development of infrastructure, road traffic systems as well as logistics services.
• China: Expanding the consumer market for goods, serving the diversification of consumer needs, contributing to the growth of the country's economy.

Tandem Global Logistics Vietnam Develops A Service To Pack Cars By Containers Combined With Racking System

In July 2023, Tandem Global Logistics Vietnam developed a service of packing cars in containers combined with racking system, promoting the exploitation of domestic routes, successfully transporting 12 complete Hyundai cars from Chua Ve port, Hai Phong to Tan Thuan port, HCMC.

Following the trust and companionship of our customers, Tandem Vietnam provides car transportation services by inland waterways, and at the same time, improves the car packing by cracks installed on the car floor, increasing the area, bearing load, helping to fix the goods and raise and lower cars quickly.

• In May 2023: pack 2 cars/container without cracks
• In July 2023: pack 3 cars/container with cracks.

Recently, the registration of specialized transport vehicles has become increasingly strict because of changing regulations and policies, increasing transportation demand along with market economic pressures. This situation leads to a shortage and disruption of customers' domestic routes.

The solution for transporting vehicles combining containers and racks not only brings outstanding efficiency and competitive cost, especially with each 40HC container that can hold 3-4 vehicles/cont, but also helps to better protect the vehicles throughout the shipping process.

From the above facts, Tandem Vietnam has researched and deployed the container and rack transportation service for the exploitation of international routes previously into the operation and development of domestic routes, bringing many benefits to customers.

Tandem Vietnam conducts domestic transportation of complete cars combined with containers and racks as follows:

• Pick up cars at Chua Ve port, check the exterior and interior for each car.
• Pack cars and install the cracks in the container, pack 1 car on the cracks and lashing, pack other 2 cars and lash the floor.
• Conduct inland waterway transportation from Hai Phong to Ho Chi Minh City.
• Unload cars from containers, deliver cars to the customer's agent at Ho Chi Minh port.
