TGLN ED visited Tandem & Azuma Yokohama and Azuma Tokyo

On the 22^nd of July, Tandem’s Executive Director Frits Schouffoer and his family visited Tandem’s Yokohama office. They received a warm welcome from President Mr Tsutomu Yamamoto, Mr Yousuke Minami (General Manager Sales Department, Operations Department), Ms. Chikako Nishihara (Assistant Manager Sales), Ms. Michiyo Kumagai (Assistant General Manager Administration), Mr Yukihiko Aoki (Operations), Ms Tomomi Kato (Manager Sales), Ms. Haruna Honma (Sales) and Ms. Yuriko Hashimoto (Operations). We all enjoyed a delicious sushi lunch together. Afterwards, our ED met with Ms Ichie Takenaka at Azuma Yokohama. She used to manage Tandem’s Myanmar office and attended our AGM in Bangkok. Currently her role is Deputy General Manager Sales Keihin Business Division.

On the 26^th, Frits visited Tandem Japan’s mother company (and Tandem shareholder) Azuma Shipping in Tokyo where he met with Mr Toru Tayama, Mr Takayoshi Nagato (both responsible for Azuma’s Overseas Planning Division & TGLN Executive Board Members) and Ms Emi Hirata (Int. Planning Section, Int. Business Promotion Division). Afterwards he and his family were treated to a succulent Japanese dinner.
